Emma Crow Willard

Actress Emma Crow Willard was born Emma Nicole Crow-Willard in New Haven, Connecticut to parents Dorothy Crow-Willard (a lawyer and violinist) and Gary Crow-Willard (a computer programmer and opera singer/actor). She grew up in Denver, CO playing tennis, figure skating, and dancing ballet. At age nine she - at the insistence of her parents - also took up a musical instrument: the piano. She graduated from George Washington High School in 2006 where she became a part of the drama program. She attended Bates College for a year before transferring to Occidental College where she intended to become a math or physics major while working at the NASA/Caltech Jet Propulsion Laboratory. After one year at Occidental College, she changed her major to a double major in Theater and Geology, and minored in Math. She continued working at the NASA/Caltech Jet Propulsion Lab until she graduated Occidental in 2011. At this point she began her acting career.
