Robert Michaud

Robert was born and raised in Valdez, Alaska. During his middle school and high school years, he and a small group of friends made numerous no-budget short films which consisted primarily of improvisation and sloppy story boards. He later attained his undergraduate degree in English Literature and Creative Writing with a minor in education at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Again, throughout his college years, he was active in the UAF Film Club, producing a fair number of low budget short films. After graduating, he moved with his lovely wife and two dogs down to Portland, Oregon. There he met Jeremy Peterson and the two of them started up an independent film studio (a3o.net). Since then he has attained a masters degree in education and has remained active in the H. P. Lovecraft Film circles and the many film challenges that come through Portland.
