Leigh Broussard has been an actor, dancer and singer for most of her life. She first performed as a dancer at the age of 2 and, at the age of 11, she was accepted into a state-run gifted and talented program for drama, where she performed in numerous plays and musicals, including leading roles in "South Pacific," "West Side Story," and "Our Town." Leigh grew up in Gretna, a suburb of New Orleans, where her dance training included tap, jazz, contemporary and ballet, and eventually led to competing as a professional dancer. At Loyola University New Orleans she was accepted as a student of the Vaganova method of ballet, performing with the company until her graduation with a degree in Classical Studies. Also a singer, Leigh was a member of an honors choir and ranked in the top 10 percent of alto vocalists in the state. Since her move to L.A., Leigh has continued studies in acting, voice, and improvisation, including method acting classes at Sharon Chatten Studios. Her theater and independent film credits include the roles of Red Riding Hood in "Happily Whatever After" at the Next Stage Theater, Barbara in the film "Tarmun: Our Pain," and a featured role in "Julian." She lives in Hollywood with her husband and two cats.
