Born and raised in the UK, Chris Hill holds a Masters in Screenwriting from the prestigious National Film and Television School in London. In the years following graduation, he has been a script consultant on the Oscar-nominated film, The Last Station; developed treatments for EON Productions (James Bond Franchise); was on the writing staff of cult TV series, Skins (Company Pictures); and co-wrote the horror movie, Bachelor Games, released by Gravitas Ventures in 2016 and winner of Best Feature at Halloweenapalooza '16. Chris recently moved to Los Angeles and has set-up the following spec pilots: time-travel thriller, Witness, (Endgame Entertainment) and teen supernatural drama, The Shadows (AwesomenessTV). He has also adapted the Penguin Random House YA fantasy trilogy, The Girl at Midnight, by Melissa Grey for BCDF Television. In the feature space he is adapting the life story of blind runner, Henry Wanyoike - the first African to win a Paralympic gold medal - for UK-based Origin Pictures (Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom, Catherine The Great). Hill's latest spec feature, female-ensemble One Day Longer, was a Top-3 Finalist in the 2020 Final Draft Big Break Contest, which received an unprecedented 13,000 submissions. With his writing, Chris hopes to bring an outsider's perspective to American stories that shine a light on the overlooked or misunderstood. He specializes in grounded genre, true stories and literary adaptations.
