Colin Arnold was born in Chichester, West Sussex in April 1983. He is an English director, producer and editor. He is Head of Film and Video at multi-award winning production company Figment Productions specialising in Virtual Reality and immersive cinematic experiences for visitor attractions and theme parks worldwide. He directed a cinematic horror VR film for Derren Brown's Ghost Train at Thorpe Park, UK. The experience has had over 1.5 million visitors and forms part of the largest VR installation of HTC Vives in the world. He also co-directed, co-produced and edited VR short film 'Kinch & the Double World' which formed part of an 18 month innovate UK funded project with Foundry exploring cinematic VR experiences with lightfield volumetric capture. After gaining a first-class BSc degree in Film Production Technology at Staffordshire University he worked his way up from an assistant editor to feature film editor along with receiving multiple co-producer and director credits. He has filmed and edited cinematic films for LEGO, Chelsea Football Club, Liverpool Football Club, the Springboks, World Rugby, Wimbledon Tennis Musuem and Silverstone. Colin produced and edited the psychological horror/thriller feature film 'The Fallow Field' released in the UK by Monster Pictures. Film director John Landis described the film as "Thrilling, extraordinary and handsome." He directed and edited the award nominated feature length music documentary 'Subsource A Dubumentary' released in the UK across multiple platforms including in-store HMV, Amazon, iTunes, and Film4OD. John Landis described the film as "An insightful look at the truth about rock n roll". It has been distributed in the UK by Left Films.
