Priscila Lima was born in Sao Paulo in the early 80's. In 2004, she graduated from a Bachelor of Arts in Image and Sound at UFSCar - Federal University of Sao Carlos, where she directed her first short film, "Strawberry", winner of several awards in Latin America. Priscila has since then lived in Rio, working mainly as a Music Video editor for Warner Music Brazil artists, and also in London, where she attended an MA in Screen Directing at one of the most prestigious drama schools in Europe, Drama Centre London, part of Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design. Priscila's master's degree was focused on the collaborative work between directors, writers and actors, with great emphasis on acting coach and directing techniques, such as the Sanford Meisner and the Uta Hagen techniques, devising techniques and the "Laban - Malmgren System of Character Analysis", method developed at Drama Centre London. After finishing her master's degree, still in London, Priscila has worked as an assistant director and acting coach. Back in Brazil, she's been now developing her first feature film, entitled "Echo," and have also been working as an acting coach and assistant director. Priscila's goal as director is to combine the techniques of directing actors acquired with a visual approach to film direction.
