Francisco Miguez

Francisco Miguez is a director and researcher from São Paulo whose work intersects cinema, dance, and critical writing. Active in short and experimental formats, he develops a practice centered on the relationship between image, movement, and territory. From 2018 to 2022, he collaborated with Revista Cinética, contributing reflections on film and visual culture. His residency at RAW: Arché-Work, connected to DocLisboa and Márgenes, deepened his exploration of documentary and hybrid forms. His projects filmed on the coast of São Paulo and his first feature-length production extend a trajectory that unites artistic creation and academic inquiry.
