Zarina Li

Zarina Kadylbek was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan in 1988. Raised during a tumultuous Post-Soviet era, then being relocated to England with her mother at the age of six, Zarina had an interesting varied childhood. She rapidly advanced academically through school and attended the University of Southampton where she studied Film. Zarina's passion for acting was ignited when she met her childhood hero Richard Hatch from the original _Battlestar Galactica (1978)series at a science fiction convention in Florida in 2008. She remains friends with him, and since then attended various workshops and acting classes in London. Encouraged by family to achieve academic enlightenment, Zarina went to university to study Film and English Literature whilst also developing numerous athletic passions - she played ice hockey for the university team and is a very gymnastic performer with a natural inclination towards martial arts. Since 2012 Zarina has been performing steadily in various independent feature films and is working on several more for 2013/14.
