Heather Anderson was born in Decatur, Alabama. Her father Jim is a Chemist and her mother Kathy is a teacher and a homemaker. She is the oldest of three children. Inspired by the great comic legends, Carol Burnett, and the late Lucille Ball, Heather has always had a passion for the stage as well as film. Even her birth announcements were done up as playbills. Heather made her acting debut at age 14, when she was cast in a local production of "The Sound of Music." She instantly fell in love with acting and has had a burning desire for the stage ever since. Heather has gone on to appear in numerous stage productions and independent films. Heather had the wonderful opportunity to perform in William Gibson "The Miracle Worker" at the Helen Keller Birthplace, Tuscumbia, Alabama in 2008. She also appeared in the short film A Fix (2008) which starred Skye McCole Bartusiak and Julianna Rose Mauriello. In 2009, Heather graduated Magma Cum Laude with an Associate's degree in Theatre Arts from John C. Calhoun Community College. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Athens State University in December 2011. In 2011, Heather also started her own theatre company, Curtain and Lights Theatre Company.
