Stephanie Fodor was born and raised in Hawaii, on the island of Oahu. At the age of 4, she was signed by a talent & modeling agency, and began doing print and commercial work for US and international companies. She began acting at the age of eight, when her teacher encouraged her to audition for the school play. She got the lead role, and fell in love with the stage. Years of performing and training followed, in acting, musical theater, dance and singing, with numerous lead roles in local theater productions, and wins in state speech and drama competitions. The State Theatre Council awarded her a Best Actress award for her lead role in "The Diary of Anne Frank" as well as a nomination for her lead role in the musical "Annie." Stephanie also worked on several TV series & films that were shot on location in Hawaii, including "Byrds of Paradise", "Raven", "Island Son", "Baywatch Hawaii" and "The Shaggy Dog." Stephanie graduated from Punahou High School (President Barack Obama went there), and earned her Bachelor's degree in Political Science & International Relations from prestigious Brandeis University, graduating cum laude with honors. She went on to complete a rigorous professional actor's training program in Meisner technique at the famed Baron/Brown Studio in Los Angeles. Not content with just learning the acting side of the business, Stephanie has also worked in feature film development, and in production for television and film. Her hobbies include dance, pilates, hiking, scuba diving, and traveling. She has visited over a dozen countries, and has lived in Tokyo and Hong Kong.
