Daniel Nunez

Daniel was born to and raised in Miami, Florida by Cuban immigrants. Since he was a small child he has had a love for storytelling. His mother, a teacher, instilled in him a love of reading while his father, a blue-collar worker turned businessman, bonded with him primarily with trips to the movies. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve and served with TOW/Scout Company, 4th Tank BN for six years. While he was drilling, he operated a family owned gas station until he was activated for a combat deployment to Iraq with Scout Platoon from 2006 to 2007. After he returned from deployment and completed his term of service, he eventually began his formal studies at Full Sail University. Since then, he has been producing and directing Short Films and lower-budget Features along with his creative and business partner, his twin brother, Lazaro, honing his skills as a Producer, Writer, Director and Actor while he continues to grow his network and audience, generating more and more awareness as to who he is as a filmmaker and what he has to offer to the world of Cinema. He also has been freelancing as a Camera Operator, Editor and Video Content Producer. Together with his brother, he has also recently completed two manuscripts for novels they are currently seeking representation for. Cinema and Literature. These two things have played a very important part in who Daniel is, not only because of his choice of profession, but since he can remember. Storytelling has always been an exceedingly essential tool since the dawn of time to entertain, inspire and educate. The power to do these things is amplified when utilizing a movie screen. It is obvious that Film is an extremely powerful art form. When he realized the effect movies had on him, he chose this most powerful art form as a means of self-expression in the hopes of entertaining, inspiring and perhaps educating a few other people in the process.
