Milan was born in Yugoslavia, where he grew up, but quickly started nomad life, and moved first to Libya, then Malta then Toronto, Canada, and eventually Los Angeles, California. In Malta he graduated as Bachelor of Communications and Psychology at the University of Malta, and he also graduated Film Production in Toronto, Canada. His featurette "Regression" staring Nick Mancusso and Leanne Melissa Bishop won several awards at the prestigious International Film Festivals: * Platinum Remi Award Winner at Houston WorldFest (2016) * Best Foreign Short Film Winner at Big Island Film Festival (2016) * Mary Austin Excellence in Producing Featurette Award at Idyllwild International Festival Of Cinema (2017) In 2017 Milan directed eight out of thirteen episodes of the ground breaking series called "Teens 101" that deal with teenage mental issues. He is a member of Director's Guild of Canada as well as IATSE 873 and he worked for years in multiple crew positions in both small budget non union productions as well as A list union features and TV shows. Milan worked first as Camera Operator then Assistant Director, then On Set Dresser and Assistant Prop Master and also as a Script Supervisor. Milan has high interest in Psychodrama and Art Therapy.
