Richard Speziale

Richard Speziale is an award-winning producer, broadcaster, and director who has lived in Manhattan forever. A former network news editor, Speziale is known for directing the long-running, nationally-distributed news program "Gay USA (1985)" since 2003. He scripted and edited the documentary Burma: An Indictment (2009) (Best Documentary - 2010 Soho International Film Festival). His 2013 "Documentary Editing" video seminar has been viewed by thousands worldwide. Speziale lit and did live audio mixing for over 150 episodes of "The Chris Gethard Show: Public Access (2011)", and both the 2012 and '_THE 2016 CHRIS GETHARD ELECTION SPECIAL_' and continues in the same role for the successor series "The Special Without Brett Davis (2015)". Speziale is the host of the long-running DVTV LIVE on MNN, and currently teaches video production and conducts seminars in media history and media literacy.
