Alison McKenzie is an Australian actress born in Tweed Heads, New South Wales. She is of Filipino-Spanish descent. Alison's first feature film role was cast as Amy Dwyer in The Contents (2013), directed by Shane Krause, but the role was recast after she moved to Shanghai, China to complete her studies. After returning to Australia, Alison appeared in musical theatre productions at The Arts Centre Gold Coast including Miss Saigon as Gigi, HAIR as Dionne, Annie Get Your Gun as Annie Oakley, and West Side Story as Anita. Alison has also appeared in The Drowsy Chaperone as the Drowsy Chaperone, FAME as Carmen Diaz, and Cats as Grizabella. She has also appeared in nation- and state-wide television commercial campaigns with Cetaphil (2021), Wattyl (2021), Officeworks (2021), Queens (2020), Youfoodz (2019), Isuzu (2018), Golden Casket (2017), and Suncorp (2015). Alison graduated from Bond University in Queensland, Australia with a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce. She was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and High Court of Australia in 2012.
