Kevin V. Tudor, affectionately nicknamed "Doc", was born in New York City.As a child, he loved watching movies. Doc was a biology major at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania where he had a work study job in media, filming events around campus. This is where he learned camera works and film editing. Doc is a practicing podiatric surgeon in New York. When he speak of his film career, he describes himself as a "work in progress", learning film from the school of hard knocks. His first film, a short named, "Vicky's Dad", premiered at the Long Island International Film Festival in 2003. While juggling his medical practice, he directed a number of short films that graced film festivals under his company, Sandstorm Productions. Doc's first feature, Truths and Fairy Tales, about HIV and AIDS drew lots of acclaim. His latest works, a short film, "Red Carpet" and a feature, "The Playground", has won numerous awards thru the film festival circuit. Doc says, "I love storytelling and I plan to continue as long as I can."
