Laurel Krause

Laurel Robyn Krause was born on February 27, 1987, in Lexington, Kentucky. After several moves, her family eventually settled in Waterloo, Iowa, where Laurel spent the majority of her childhood. Laurel's first creative interests were art and music, mastering several instruments (French horn, trumpet) and winning community awards for her drawings. It wasn't until high school that she discovered theatre and became involved in numerous productions. Laurel attended Iowa State University and graduated with honors in 2009. Although she received a Bachelor of Science in biology, she chose to move to Los Angeles after graduation to pursue a career in film. She continues to study classical music, including opera, performs in concerts with Los Angeles ensembles.
