Leonidas Liambeys

Leonidas Liambeys is a Producer, specializing in documentary, social media and exhibitions with non-fictional content. He founded Long Run Productions in 2020 after more than 12 years' experience working in Greece's leading production companies on non-fiction projects. Current productions include The Secrets of the Owl, a documentary directed by Eirini Vourloumis that won the ERT award at the 2021 Thessaloniki Doc Fest pitching forum, funded by Greek Film Centre (GFC) and ERT. He has produced a feature-length history doc co-produced with ERT and the Venizelos Foundation that premiered in November 2022 at a screening at the Athens Concert Hall in the presence of President of the Hellenic Republic. He is involved in several other national and international co-productions in Producer and Associate Producer roles, whilst specializing as an Archive and Research Producer with a small team of researchers at Long Run. He also produced a social media campaign for the Greek Committee of 2021-1821 and is involved in making films and educational platforms for cultural institutions such as the British School at Athens and the GFC (CineEdu.gr).
