Luis Felipe Labaki is a film director, editor and soundtrack composer from São Paulo, Brazil. He directed the short films "O Pracinha de Odessa" ('The Private from Odessa', 2013) and "Que tal a vida, camaradas?" ('How's life going, comrades?', 2017) and a series of experimental video works since. He has a Master's Degree in Media and Audiovisual Processes from the University of São Paulo (2016) and is also a researcher of Soviet cinema. For theatre, he wrote the plays "O Balneário" ('The seaside town', 2012) and "Os Fins do Sono" ('The Ends of Sleep', 2016), both staged by Francisco Turbiani, ahead of the Coletivo Cardume theatre group.
