Muriel Flett was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and was raised in Island Lake, Manitoba. Island lake is 300 kilometers north east of Winnipeg, Manitoba. She attended high School in Winnipeg and lived there ever since. It wasn't till after high school that she wanted to be come an actor. After high school, she attended University of Winnipeg for Psychology and Intro to theatre. In 2006, Muriel took Intro to Theatre and Film Studies at the University of Manitoba. She has more experience in backstage than onstage. Got her professional training from The Academy of Acting, a division of the Academy of Broadcasting Corporation. She explored the film industry in the Aboriginal Crew Development Program at Film Training Manitoba. Muriel was a Production Assistant on Black Field a Gothic film by Danishka Esterhazy. Muriel worked as an actress on APTN's Cashing In (season 2) and an independent film, Sunday by Jeremy Rafuse.
