Michele Antonio Parisi

Michele Antonio Parisi was born in Avellino, Italy, in 1984 to Antonietta Lucia Sepe, a Kindergarten teacher, and Francesco Parisi, a police inspector. Michele has a twin brother, Raffaele Parisi, and an older sister, Teresa Parisi. The family moved to Rome when Michele was 8-years-old and he grows up on the East side of Rome. Michele pursues his diploma at the technical college and graduates in 2004 with a degree in telecommunications. In 2007 he starts the Film Academy in Cinecitta' in Rome. People quickly notice him as he displays a keen technical ability and interest in the film industry. In 2009 he graduates as a Filmmaker specializing in sound from ACT Multimedia, Film and Television Academy in Cinecitta'. Michele starts his promising career as a sound recordist and works with acclaimed Italian directors such as Carlo Lizzani and Lina Wertmüller. He has his directorial debut in 2010 when he shoots several short films. He directs the trailer Gli occhi di una vita (2012), and wins for best motion picture project at the 2012 RIFF Film Festival in Rome. The following year he directs the short film Onda anomala. Un colpo al sole (2013), and wins the 2015 Tulipani di Seta Nera Award in Rome. In 2015 he directs the short film Angeli Caduti and soon after moves to Los Angeles, where he now lives with his wife. He continues to pursue his cinematic career and directs the short film Click (2017). During 2017-2020 he collaborated on various independent projects.During the pandemic (2020-2022) he wrote two stories about social issues amongst those "The Invisible" which he directed in 2022. Currently he's evaluating some new projects and collaborations for some feature films.
