Noreen Carruthers

Noreen Carruthers is a graduate from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City with a B.F.A in Ballet under the direction of Katie Langan. She is originally from San Jose, California where she received most of her dance training with Teen Dance Company of the Bay Area. During her time at Marymount, she was in works choreographed and set by Banu Ogan, Edgar Zendejas, Benoit-Swan Pouffer, and Lar Lubovitch. She has studied with a variety of teachers and has attended many different workshops across the country including Broadway Theater Project, Alonzo King's Professional Workshop, Janice Garret Dance, the ODC Audition Workshop, and Movement Invention Project. For the past three years she has been a member of the Peggy Spina Tap Company. She also has a strong interest in arts administration as well as experience in work and teaching with young children. Noreen has been pursuing her dance career in New York City for a year now and continues to do so.
