American actor Patrick J. Thomas, who also holds the German citizenship, is best known for his melancholic charm and contribution to independent film. He was born in Stuttgart, Germany, to a German civil servant and a U.S. Army officer. Patrick was the first of their three children. Due to his father, originally from Montego Bay, Jamaica, who later joined the U.S. Army, he has both the American and German citizenship. He and his family spent the early years of his life in over a dozen locations around the world. As a result, he was close to his family , but has said he never had the feeling of coming from one particular place. Patrick grew up bilingual, speaking both English and German as his mother tongue and visited both American and European schools up to receiving his vocational diploma. During his early school days Patrick discovered his love for the preforming arts and the craft of magic. At the age of 15 Patrick had the opportunity to meet and be on stage with magician David Copperfield on one of his tours. Patrick is still active in the magic field and currently producing a stage show. As Patrick turned 18 he was cast as a refugee and had his movie debut in the German feature film "Unveiled". At the age of 20, he relocated to Miami, Florida, and studied acting at the "Greenwich Film Studios" for 3 years. During this time he acted on numerous productions shot in Florida, including "Burn Notice" and "Son of Morning". Patrick now lives & works both in Europe and the United States. In 2013 he took the lead, next to Lance Henriksen (known for "Alien", "X-Files" & "Terminator"), in the 3D horror / slasher "Fangoria Presents: Sin Reaper", distributed in the U.S., Canada as well as Europe and Japan. Patrick was cast in the thriller "Blissestrasse" by Canadian director & producer Paul Donovan (known for the sci-fi series "Lexx") in 2011. They rejoined forces in 2014, as Patrick guest starred in Donovan's newest Canadian television series "Clay's POV", on Super Channel (Canada).
