Matana Erin grew up with a strong athletic and performing arts background. She started taking gymnastics classes recreationally at the age of four, and showed an aptitude for the sport that was noticed at her gym. After increasing her physical prowess with both soccer games and dance classes, she started competing USAG gymnastics levels at age eight. By age 12 she was choreographing her own floor routines, and in grades 8 through 12 she was recognized within her state. She moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the arts, and landed her first IMDb credit as a cheerleader in the movie #1 Cheerleader Camp. The next time she tumbled on camera was to appear in an episode of the Disney television show A.N.T. Farm. She is currently a proud SAG-AFTRA member who aspires to continue to elevate as a gymnast, and also works as a commercial print model.
