Timo Grosspietsch, born 12th September 1977, studied media sciences and ethnic studies at the University of Hamburg, and photography and the documentary film at Hamburg's Academy of Fine Arts. After that he worked as a trainee at broadcaster NDR. He worked for almost two years for media magazine "ZAPP" before becoming a documentary cameraman and video journalist in NDR's documentary and reporting unit. Timo Grosspietsch also works as a video journalism trainer in the NDR's training programme.
