Miah Allsman is a Nebraska born storyteller and Film Director. At the turn of the century, Miah embarked on a career in portrait photography that later became a kind of stepping stone toward his larger ambition to tell stories in a visual medium. In 2008, he wrote and self published a limited edition graphic novel titled, "Frank Bill in Reality Check". He later participated on several small local film projects before returning to college for Screenwriting. In 2012, he co-authored and directed a Lewis Carroll inspired feature titled, "Through Dark Glass". A year later, he participated in the Minneapolis 48 Hour Film Project, in which his team won two awards for Best Costumes and Best Use of Dialogue. In 2014, Miah earned an AAS in Screenwriting and two certificates in the fields of Cinema Production and Cinema Studies at Minneapolis Community and Technical College. In 2016 and 2017 he has self published two children's books: Mitchell and Me and the Secret Key and Marvelous Marvin McCook's Indoor Fun Book. He enjoys the dichotomy of writing stories for younger people and working on movies aimed at a young adult audience and while the audiences are different, the stories often share similar fantasy elements.
