Javier Tessari studied Film Directing, Screenwriting, and Editing at the Los Angeles Film School and graduated with honors, having written, produced and directed a thesis film titled "Parasomnia" shot in Lacey Street Studios. He is based in Guatemala where he directs his own advertising company. He wrote, directed and produced the first Central American short film shot entirely in green screen, titled "Vaya Con Pancho", as well as the feature film "Captain Orellana and the Possessed Village", which contained the first symphonic score in Central America, interpreted by the Youth Municipal Orchestra.
