Biography

Jeanne Taylor was born in Detroit, Michigan and attended Chippewa Valley High School. The first time she went on stage was in her school variety show, improvising with her best friend as Carol Burnett's Eunice and Momma characters. Jeanne was lucky enough back then to share the drama club stage with future director and then magician, Paul Feig. She attended Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo for Theatre and vocal Music. There, she was lucky to share the stage with future Broadway star Marin Mazzie. Not to mention her good fortune at meeting her talented future husband, Thom Floutz, in the college dormitory! Following her work in Kalamazoo theater, Jeanne became a first alternate at Wayne State University's Hilberry Reparatory Company. She gained her Equity card at Detroit's Attic and Meadowbrook Theatres before moving to Chicago. There she pursued improvisation and acting as part of the Zebra Crossing Theatre Company.
