Njel De Mesa

Njel de Mesa (full name: Nathaniel de Mesa) is an award-winning writer-director, singer-songwriter, viral video artist and producer in the Philippines. His notable works include: KontrAdiksyon (starring Jake Cuenca, Kris Bernal, Katrina Halili, Ritz Azul etc.), Respeto, and Subtext. He was also trained in Production design by Philippines' National Artist for Production Design, Salvador Bernal and is a multi-Palanca Award winning writer. He holds influential positions in the entertainment industry working with Universal Records and BELL films and being a part of the board of directors of ALIW awards (Philippines' Premiere Award-giving body for Live Entertainment), FILSCAP, the Movie Television Review and Classification Board, a trainer-director in PAGCOR (Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation) Entertainment Department, and NDMstudios.
