Joel Lindenfeld was born in Caracas, Venezuela where he lived and studied until the age of 15 when he and his family moved to the United States. Joel graduated in Barcelona, Spain from a Masters Program in Directing at the Escola Superior De Cinema I Audiovisuals De Catalunya (ESCAC) in 2012, after graduating from The Los Angeles Film School (LAFS). Along with his partners Maxx Fisher and Eric Ornelas, Joel started a production company in Burbank, CA. Umano Productions opened in 2014. Joel Lindenfeld has directed 3 short films and produced several other projects.
