Laila Hameen

Laila was born on August 26th in Dayton,Ohio. She has acted in Theater,Films and Television Commercials. Laila fell in love with acting when she was ten years old, after she improvised the role of Frankenstein's monster at a summer camp in Bowie,Maryland. A year later, she landed a principal role in the musical "Readin',Ritin' and Rockin' at Pointer Ridge Elementary. She went to participate in the theater program at Purcell Marian High school in Cincinnati, Ohio. Laila has acted in independent feature films such as Grandma's Hands(2010), Slasher (2014) and Devils Point (2013). Laila can be seen in the upcoming films "All or Nothin", "The Shoes",and "Respite Care"set to be released in 2016. Laila will also begin her journey as an actor and puppeteer for The Mad Cap Puppets. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television Media Performance and a Master of Arts in Communication from Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, Kentucky.
