Gunalan Morgan is a distinguished Producer/Presenter-Personality affiliated with Oli 968, Mediacorp's esteemed Indian News and Entertainment radio station. With a remarkable entry into the media industry at a young age of 13, he has demonstrated his active involvement as an actor across various platforms, including stage, television, and feature films. Notably, his radio show, Uravugal Thodarkadhai, received the prestigious Best Radio Programme award at Pradhana Vizha 2021. As a valued member of Ravindran Drama Group, a renowned Indian drama group in Singapore since 1994, Gunalan Morgan has showcased his acting prowess in numerous stage plays, excelling in both English and Tamil productions. His outstanding contributions earned him the distinction of winning the Most Popular Male Personality Award in 2005, 2011 and 2022. Moreover, his remarkable talent has garnered him four nominations and a win for the esteemed Best Actor Award at Pradhana Vizha. After dedicating seven years to the Singapore Police Force, Gunalan Morgan seized a golden opportunity to pursue his lifelong passion for acting in Chennai, India. From 2007 to 2011, he actively participated in multiple movies, feature films, and soap serials, including notable projects such as SandaKozhi 2, Unnakena Venum Sollu, Paranthu Sellava, Singakutty, and various other acclaimed Kollywood movies. Additionally, he has been prominently featured as the face of the Indian community in the Singapore National Anthem Video since 2013. Notably, he also served as the lead actor in the highly successful drama series Vettai, which garnered critical acclaim and ran for five seasons from 2010 to 2018.
