Andrew Furtado

Andrew Furtado is a comedy Director/Writer/Actor living in Los Angeles. He continues to constantly work with companies such as Ariescope Pictures and Funny Or Die and can be seen on Nick Swardson's Pretend Time on Comedy Central. Among writing for popular web series How To Fake It In America, he has written and directed multiple shorts that have been screened in front of sold out crowds at popular venue Meltdown in Hollywood and has had work in the CCH Film Festival. Born and raised in Newport Rhode Island, he moved to Los Angeles at the age of 19 to study film and begin working. Working on The Todd Glass Show and Talkin' S**t With Jim Jefferies and Eddie Ifft as well as writing and directing sketches, shorts, and music videos freelance for multiple notable actors in the comedy community. He has been said to be a breath of fresh air and has a new and unique style of comedy that mixes hard hitting humor with sexual frustration in a way only he can. Being of sound mind and body, he continues to find himself working with new and interesting people everyday and with time, can become one of the notable people in comedy in the near future.
