During the years, 2001-02 he studied at the Department of Mechanics of the Gdansk Polytechnic; however, he abandoned technical studies and in 2002 began studying composition at the Academy of Music in Cracow, in the class of Marek Stachowski. He obtained a MA degree with distinction in the composition class of Zbigniew Bujarski, and PhD with Krzysztof Penderecki. In 2005 he was a student at the Staatliche Musikhochschule in Stuttgart. He held a scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in recognition of outstanding achievement in his studies. He has worked for the Academy for the Dramatic Arts in Cracow, the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, the Jagiellonian University, and with the Theatre Academy in Warsaw since 2006, composing music for examinations in directing. In 2008 he was awarded the 1st Prize in the Marek Stachowski National Composers' Competition. In the same year he was composer-in-residence in Bourges and Polish-Norwegian Cultural Program in electro-acoustic studio NOTAM in Oslo. His work includes audio-video creations as well as performance art. His compositions have been presented by the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Lviv Philharmonic, Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra in Cracow and at numerous festivals, such as the Warsaw Autumn Festival, Musica Polonica Nova in Wroclaw, TonLagen - Dresdner Festival der Zeitgenoessischen Musik , Silesian Days of Contemporary Music, the International Days of Cracow Composers, AudioArt Festival in Cracow, Malta Festival in Poznan;, Synthese 2008 in Bourges, Introspekce Novey Hudby in Prague, Alma Mater in Budapest, festivals of contemporary music in Lviv and Kiev, as well as at educational fairs in Warsaw and in Poznan;. His compositions were presented at the National Conference on Aesthetics 'The Matter of Art' at the Jagiellonian University (2008) and International conference 'Musical Co-existence' in Cracow (2010)
