Then, at age 10, he finally witnessed the performance of an actor that changed it all. That actor was Jackie Chan. Astonished by the amazing fighting skills and comedy performance of Chan, Christian found a newborn love in the hardcore impact Hong Kong martial arts movie genre. Growing Up watching Hong Kong martial arts film and inspired by his idols as the late great Bruce Lee, Gordon Liu, Alexander Fu Sheng, Liu Chia Liang , Sammo hung, Yuen Biao and many others, Christian firmly decided to pursue a career as an action movie actor in Asia. It was not only that though. Christian had an even bigger dream: to fuse Italy's unique exploitation style with the hard hitting impressive fight choreography of the Asian epic action movies. Two genres that in Christian's words "Were born to be fused together". As a professional actor combined with over 14 years of training in traditional kung fu, modern wushu, muay thai, Tae Kwon Do, Capoeira, and many other combat styles, Christian Kang's career began in Shanghai in 2009 with his breakout role in the short film "Kang De Chuan Qi" written and directed by Shanghai director Zhong Hua Fu and winner of multiple awards both in the Chinese film festivals circuit and in the US genre festivals in Pasadena and Los Angeles.
