Diana S. Zimmerman is the author of the best-selling magical realism Young Adult trilogy "Kandide." She has signed a joint venture agreement with Steven L. Sears (PondaLee Productions) to develop Kandide into a live-action, one-hour, fantasy-adventure series-something Kandide fans have been clamoring for. (The pilot script is amazing!) Diana's eclectic career began at the age of eight when she parleyed a 47-cent investment in a small magic trick into becoming the "The World's Foremost Lady Magician." This fall, her likeness and signature magic props will be enshrined in a special display at an international magic museum. (Watch for the announcement.) During her years as an entertainer, Diana toured the world performing magic; starred in her own television show; appeared on virtually every TV talk-show and dozens of TV specials, and was the magical spokesperson for many companies. She also became a much in demand motivational speaker. Her creative genius extends beyond performing. She's invented illusions performed by such magic superstars as David Copperfield, Criss Angel, Lance Burton, and social-media mega-star Collins Key (21-plus million YouTube Subscribers). She also sponsors the Junior Magicians Club-a youth group she founded with the help of legendary actor, Cary Grant-at Hollywood's famous Magic Castle. Diana's entertainment credentials are paved with equally impressive business and writing credentials. She founded CMS Communications, Inc.-an award-winning Los Angeles-based creative agency. Her innovative approach to product intros has generated hundreds of millions of dollars for her clients; garnered CMS the reputation as one of America's top creative agencies; and positioned Diana as a leading expert on Brand strategy. Her clients are the "Who's Who" of the Fortune 500. Her first business book, "Tactical Abyss-MarCom's Greatest Threat," is the go-to book in many MarCom university classes. Her new business book, Why Most Branding Fails, will be out later this year. She has also written two biographies: "Siegfried and Roy, Masters of the Impossible," and "Butterfly In A Storm; The True Story of Gisele Rufer Delance" (founder of the elite Delance Swiss Watch Company). Diana's numerous awards include: Ernst & Young "Entrepreneur of the Year" top finalist; a two-time L.A. Business Journal "Woman of the Year" nominee; and Lifetime Achievement awards from the Academy of Magical Arts/Magic Castle, and the Society of American Magicians. A Vegan and Animal Rights activist, Diana works tirelessly to promote and improve animal welfare.
