Amelia Leigh Harris was born in Sacramento and raised in Colfax, California. She studied Acting and Playwriting at the University of California, Santa Barbara where she received a BA in Dramatic Arts. After college, Amelia taught 3rd grade in the South Bronx through the Teach for America organization. Going on to receive an MFA in Acting from the University of Florida, Amelia currently lives in Los Angeles where she writes comedy, acts, and runs her own consulting business.
