Gary Turk

Gary Turk was born on March 13, 1987 in Brighton, England, UK. He is a writer, director and performer, known for 'Look Up' (2014), Derek (2012), and Comic Relief: Red Nose Day (2013). Turk started performing stand up comedy aged just 12 years old, and went on to win multiple comedy competitions. Upon graduating Southampton University in 2009 he worked on comedy films & TV shows for Ricky Gervais, Richard Curtis and Russell Brand, among others. His debut short film Look Up (2014) is the most viewed spoken word video on the Internet with over 600 million views. Look Up (2014) went on to win Best Viral Film at Cannes Media & TV Awards, and two Webby Awards for Best Viral Film and Best Individual Performance.
