David Sung-Joon Kim grew up in Los Angeles training in martial arts, having been inspired by Bruce Lee. His acting passion started in high school and continued into college as a theater major at CSUN. During his freshman year, he had the opportunity to work on his first film, Balls of Fury. His acting talent was first recognized in the stage production of Houdini's Box as the lead, Harry Houdini that allowed him to travel to Shanghai University in China to perform the production there. Since graduating in 2009, he has been involved in a number of film projects including Mortal Kombat, Conan, and Battle of the Year, as both a martial artist/stuntman and actor.
