Born in Las Vegas, NV, Nick Wells began making super 8 films at a young age. His first college project, a shot on VHS video mockumentary titled "The Burnoutie Tribe" became a cult hit. He later made a slew of experimental 16mm films including "The Model" about the horrors of an eating disorder which stirred considerable controversy at his film school. While making videos for his band The Western Virus, he was recruited to make music videos for other local bands. This got the attention of Chris Lenahan of Visual Magic who hired him as a content creator for his business creating video installations and live mixing images for night clubs and raves. He was hired as the resident VJ and lighting controller at the legendary Club Utopia on the Las Vegas Strip and during his tenure there did visuals for acts such as Moby, Run DMC and Prince. Eventually he was responsible for visual content up and down the Strip including Studio 54 at the MGM and Club Ra at the Luxor. Nick Wells has made numerous short video sketches, music videos and TV commercials (including a hand in the first Red Bull ad). He has produced four feature motion pictures: "Misanthropolis", "FO AM", "Kcor the Warrior" and "Metal Messiah: Born Again Sage".
