Ellah Rose

Ellah Rose approaches the realm of creativity as a totally immersive experience which is evident through her success in roles as an actor, director, writer and musician. She commands a unique understanding of the delicate complexities required for powerful and impactful collaborations. Ellah's love for the arts began through training at the Jill Ford Academy from the age of three in 1989, among many other modeling and television commercial roles in her young years. A highlight in the dawn of Ellah's career was a fitting role as 'the littlest citizen' in the 1990 musical Jack and the Beanstalk. In 2007 Ellah received a nomination at the MusicOz awards for the song 'All Knowing Eyes' in which her haunting vocals are perfectly juxtaposed with heavy undertones. She then went on to tour with symphonic prog-metal band Leadlight Rose from 2007-2012 as the lead vocalist and songwriter. This was followed by a self-titled EP in 2010 and a much anticipated debut album 'Sweet Obsession' in 2012 which received international cult acclaim and rave reviews. Ellah's fascination with every facet of film construction is emphasized through an expansive showcase of projects in an impressive variety of roles. This began in 2001 in 'American Warewolf on the Gold Coast' as the writer and director as well as playing the role of Samantha. In 2005 Ellah was the Assistant Director of the short film 'Full Moon' and succeeded this in 2006 with the the short film 'Postcards From a Garden Gnome' as co-writer, co-producer and director. 2011 saw Ellah contribute her expertise as Assistant Director in both the film 'The Killage' and television series 'The Void'. Her involvement in these projects respectively also include casting director and actor. In 2012 Ellah wrote, directed and produced television series 'Public Zombie Announcements' as well as short film, 'Then I Left', and starred in the stage play, 'Group Therapy', before shifting her focus to her debut feature film as Director: 'Girl in The Red Dress'. Ellah fuses the empowerment of self-expression through creative collaboration with a strong stand for social consciousness. Social issues and a desire to impact the minds of the masses in an emotive and meaningful way surely but subtly underpins all the works of Ellah Rose.
