Vito is a first generation, Cuban-American actor from New York. He began working in Theater at the age of 12, gaining extensive experience with Shakespeare, Chekhov, Strindberg, Ibsen and also contemporary playwrights such as Stephen Adly Guirgis and John Patrick Shanley, to name a few. He is the nephew of world-renowned sculptor, Ana Mendieta.
