Christina-Laia Vlahos

Christina-Laia is a Canadian television Presenter. She was born in Toronto, Canada and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications, Political Science, with a Media Specialist from York University (Canada). She studied Spanish in Malaga, Spain, and is Can-Fit-Pro certified. She began her professional career in the entertainment industry in Publicity & Promotions at MGM/UA in Toronto, Canada and continued to work in entertainment behind the cameras for several years to follow. She later relocated to Athens, Greece where she worked in the film & TV industry. There she was inspired to create and present her own television series based on celebrity food & lifestyle interviews. Star Foodies launched in Canada on OMNI 1 & OMNI Alberta, in October 2018. The first season featured Christina-Laia interviewing celebrities in Greece, and returning to Canada to re-create their personal recipes with Canadian Chefs. The show was picked up for a second season by Canadian broadcaster OMNI 1 & OMNI Alberta in October 2019. In the second season Christina interviews celebrities and people of interest in her home town (The Greater Toronto Area) before re-creating their personal recipes with Canadian Chefs. In December of 2019, Christina joined Canada's, The Weather Network as a TV Presenter and Content Creator. Christina has worked alongside top industry professionals and celebrities in North America and Europe, and has garnered much publicity for her independent work. Christina works closely with Canadian celebrity photographer, Rohan Laylor for lifestyle photo shoots for various clients.
