Shaun Wood

Shaun Wood is an award winning editor and founder of ContrarianMind Post Production Services. Born in Harbor City, California and raised in Long Beach, he began his college education at UC Davis. His studies emphasized film, philosophy and sociology, and inspired him to write, produce and direct several short films and commercials. Shaun then returned to southern California to complete his Bachelor's Degree in Film and Electronic Arts at Cal State Long Beach, where he collaborated on several films in various capacities including cinematographer, producer, director and editor. After college, Shaun was hired as a demo-reel editor in Hollywood and began working as a freelance editor on short and feature films, commercials, and industrials. In 2011, Shaun launched ContrarianMind Post Production Services, providing editing, motion graphics, color correction, compositing, and narrative editing.
