She later took the role of Deputy Chair of the Acting department. In 2014 she completed her Bachelor of Communications degree at Griffith University and her Master of Creative Practice at Charles Sturt University. She specialised in acting, screenwriting, scripted TV and fiction writing before founding Armarna Films with Tony in 2017. In 2012 she produced her first short film, Purgatorio, then her second short film in 2019 Dating Dilemmas, both of which she wrote, produced, directed and acted in. Louise is passionate about addressing onscreen gender representation and diversity through her producing and writing. Armarna Films was a way for her to contribute to the growing demand for gender and culture diverse stories through her own lived experience.
