Chanel Hurlin, is a Cape Town born TV host and actress, living and working in Los Angeles. She started hosting at the age of 14 on a LIVE television show called Hip2b2 in South Africa on the channel SABC2. She was consistently working in the industry for 10 years before making her move to Hollywood in 2016 to continue her career. Growing up as an actress and dancer, tap being her forte, Chanel has never swayed from pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. Chanel moved to Hollywood without a job, without an agent and without contacts..just her drive and determination to make it happen. Only 3 months after moving across the world, she was booked on an NBC Comcast entertainment show. Chanel has interviewed the stars on the red carpet such as Jimmy Fallon and Lil Rel at the Golden Globes, Simon Cowell and Heidi Klum at America's Got Talent, Alicia Keys and Kelly Clarkson at The Voice and Cat Deely and Vanessa Hudgens at So You Think You Can Dance. As well as hosting a variety of TV shows in her career, such as entertainment news, a maths and science educational show and a wildlife and environmental reality competition show, Chanel has also written, produced and reported for one of Hollywood's biggest pop-culture online outlets. As an actress, in 2014 Chanel stared in one of South Africas most watched TV series Amaza as Gwyneth White, a feisty surfer who will risk everything to save her relationship with her dream boyfriend. She has also featured in the Warner Brothers film The Lost Boys: The Thirst (2010), the BBC TV series Beaver Falls as one of the camp leaders Lindsay (2011) and the German hit film Super-Dad (2015) as one of the lead children, Luise.
