Sihmone Silva was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro Brazil, where she began performing at the age of seven on stage and TV. Her love of stage pushed her to move to New York City where she received her B.A in Theater and Psychology at Brooklyn College in New York City. She continued her theatrical studies at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. After spending many years in New York, Sihmone now resides in Los Angeles where she pursues her Film and Television career. She began taking class at the Art of Acting Studio's Evening Conservatory and continues to do so at the Peter Wise Studio and AOA's Professional Actor's Workshop. Besides the Acting, Ms. Silva has also pursued a fine career in Dance and performed with such companies as the New York City Ballet, Jeoffrey Ballet and the Boston Ballet. She has appeared in many musicals including Dirty Dancing in Paris and starred in The Wild Party (as Queenie) an Off Broadway version in Rio de Janeiro. Her acting debut in Hollywood was in the feature Nite Tales 2 as Young Woman in the Trunk (now in post production). Her latest project was being cast as The Nurse in the Pilot "Tommy's Little Girl", directed and produced by Jamie Foxx, bought by NBC. Mrs Silva is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA.
