Lisa Monde

Lisa Monde began her acting, singing and directing career in Europe. After touring with various shows and working with renowned European theater companies, she moved to NYC to continue her pursuits. Lisa graduated from the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, and the New York Film Academy. Since then, she has worked Off-Broadway in various plays and musicals. Recent credits include: Dali's Dream (Coco Chanel); Arsene Lupin VS Sherlock Holmes (AJ Raffles Holmes); Ghost Writers (Mary Shelley); Strangers in the Night, a Tribute to Frank Sinatra (Gale Storm); A Midsummer Night's Dream (Hippolyta); Of Mice and Men (Curley's Wife); La Cage Aux Folles (Jacqueline); Dracula. Finding of a Shadow (Mina Murray); Mrs. Gould welcomes Coco Chanel, the musical (Coco Chanel); The Elizabeth Taylor Story (Elizabeth Taylor); Teach Me How to Die (Poet). Lisa was featured in multiple music videos of her songs on European MTV and other music channels throughout Europe: Une Berceuse, Disparition, Fluffy Christmas, The Boats Have Sailed, Between Us, etc. NTV Plus Europe cast Lisa in several parts in two episodes of the popular documentary series "Moscow's Foreigners," as well as used Lisa's music as the soundtrack. Lisa appeared as one of the leads in the original web series "Callie and Izzy," and "Existentialism." She also acted in the short film "In the Land of Moonstones," directed by Nicola Rose. In 2018, Lisa landed a leading role in her first feature film - "The Most Dangerous Man UVX" by Future Proof Productions. The movie is set to premier in October 2019. Lisa played Agent Kompromat, a Russian liaison and partner to Max Gunn (Paul Logan), during his dangerous mission to save the world. For several years, Lisa worked as a host and producer for the international TV channel, RTVI. She created and hosted the show called "Compass TV," which over the past 3 years has aired over 200 episodes. Lisa also dubbed and translated for a talk show - "The Meeting Place," with Oleg Frish. Both shows focused on various businesses and cultural events in NYC. In Lisa's portfolio, there are eight (8) CD's with original songs, a great number of concerts, performances, and radio/TV broadcasts. She has produced dozens of musical compositions for theater and film, as well as eight staged musicals and seven plays (written and directed by Lisa): Songs About Fairytales (2007); Moscow-Paris (2008); L.O.V.E. Little Odd Voyage of an Extraterrestrial (2009); Francois Villon. Three Days in Paris (2010); The Pirate Story (2011); I Cry You Mercy Everyone (2013); I Know All Save Myself Alone (2012); The Third Wish (2015); Twelve Minutes (2014); Happy Hunting Ground for the Hound (2016); Dracula's Call (2015); Dali's Dream (2016-17); Master Class in Suicide Notes Writing (2017-18); Dracula. Finding of a Shadow (2018); Teach Me How to Die (2019). Currently, a new play is in the works - "The Religion of Love," based on the life of Saint Francis of Assisi. Lisa also directed several Off-Broadway productions of classic American and French drama. Memberships include: SAG-AFTRA, AGMA, CID (UNESCO), DGA, AFM, NACUSA.
