Harlem native and former DJ D~Moet came on the music scene with the 1987 hit record "Hey Love" by King Sun & D~Moet. He went on to become a multi-platinum producer, who is also the recipient of 16 Billboard Awards and nominee of the Brit and Source Award. He has worked with Major Record Labels like: Universal, Warner Bros, Atlantic, Virgin, Motown, A&M, Def Jam, Island, Polygram, EMI, Sony, Columbia, Epic Elektra, BMG International, Death Row & MTV. In 1999, D-Moet was nominated for a Grammy for the Hip Hop Classic "Hate Me Now" by Nas feat. P. Diddy.
