Demetrius Hodges

Demetrius Hodges comes from Kansas City, Kansas where he graduated from the same high school as the great actors Ed Asner and Dee Wallace. That's when Demetrius love for the arts ignited with the guidance from a local theatre teacher. He always had the passion for the arts but didn't know where to focus the energy. He continued his training's in opera vocal technique, community theatre programs while having a special focus in stage acting and musical theatre. Eventually his talents awarded him a scholarship at Wichita State University's Bachelor of Fine Arts musical theatre program. While he still loves live theater, Demetrius believes he can have a bigger impact by focusing his talents on film and television acting. Meaningful character roles, based on real and grounded life experiences. He believes that tapping into the soul of a character is the essence of acting. "You can't think about portraying a character. You have to become what you seek to play."
