Juliana Bergstrom

Born in Vancouver Canada, Juliana grew up in the ballet studio and discovered her passion for performing as a young dancer in The Nutcracker. For her, dancing was the perfect combination of self-expression, athleticism and community. Juliana was a member of The Royal City Youth Ballet Company from childhood to graduation where she danced in two ballets each year, performing up to thirty shows per season. She also performed in Carousel with The Royal Musical Theatre Company, danced competitively and excelled in Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet exams. She attended the Simon Fraser University dance program then went on to work as a professional dancer for Disneyland Parks and Norwegian Cruise Lines where she got to sail through Europe, North Africa, the Caribbean, South America and Antarctica. Forever a fan of film and television, Juliana then dove into the world of acting. She trains with Andrew McIlroy and the LA-based BGB Studio. Juliana has acted in several Vancouver-based independent films and plays, produced, assistant directed, and is now writing and executive producing her own projects. In 2020 she was chosen to participate in the Women in Film and Television Actor Career Mentorship Program where she was paired with award-winning actress, Pascale Hutton (When Calls the Heart, Arctic Air). Juliana also participated in the first season of The Kim Gingras Experience, a mentorship program led by French-Canadian dancer Kim Gingras (backup for the likes of Beyoncé & Justin Timberlake). Juliana is a dual citizen of Canada and the United States.
